Je suis un ananas - is written on Chris Garneau’s Myspace page. It’s ok, we thought about this New York guy, and just kept on listening to his magical music. Piano pop, cool and no-hassle music - just what you need in the midst of summer heat, from which you can only hide beneath the veil of air-conditioning, but not ignore completely.

It seems to me that El Radio is best listened to in the evening, from inside a small house on a lonely sea beach, to the sound of the sea and irrepressible seagulls. There’s something in it that relates to fresh ocean breeze. Half-whispering vocals, soft piano chords… And if there’s no chance for a house-seashore-breeze this season, this music will be healing your overly urbanized soul for nearly an hour. Will leave you short of a couple of unneeded wrinkles on your forehead, and will give you peace and tranquility. Garneau is sweet even when he’s swearing (on Over and Over).
